Preplanning

Preplanning allows you to express your wishes and make sure your desires are carried out. Preplanning gives you the luxury of evaluating your options and prices, so you can think clearly and without a sense of urgency. While not necessary, preplanning also allows you to take care of financial arrangements if you prefer, so you can be assured that you can afford the service you desire without unduly burdening your family.

With preplanning, you can specify whether you prefer a burial or cremation, what type of service you'd like, and plan all the details of the service from the music and/or poems heard to the pall bearers of your choice. We encourage you to include your family when making these choices.

It is a good idea to make sure that your family has a copy of your preplanning arrangements. This can help avoid misinterpretations and misunderstandings of the instructions.

People who preplan their funeral arrangements give their families the greatest gift of all - Peace of Mind. We strongly encourage you to take the time to plan the funeral service in advance, so that when the time comes your family can focus on supporting one another and not on arranging a funeral.
